The United States President, Barack Hussein Obama, will turn 50 on 4th August, 2011. The 44th United States President, Barack Obama, is the first African American who became the President of the United States of America. Previously he served as a United States Senator from Illinois, from January 2005 until he resigned following his victory in the 2008 presidential election.
According to Chicago Sun-Times, President Obama will celebrate his 50th birthday with fund-raisers at the Aragon Ballroom, with tickets ranging from $50 a person to $35,800 per couple, which includes VIP seating at a “Birthday Concert” where celebs will be performing and a dinner with the president.
The event is multi-tiered and songstress Jennifer Hudson may perform in the concert at 4 p.m.
Donors who contribute $50 will gain entry to the concert with limited seating, $10,000 donors gets a souvenir photo with Obama at a reception and preferred seating at the concert and a $1,000 donor gets the concert plus premium seating and a hosted bar. A general admission ticket is only $200.
The events are a benefit for the Obama Victory Fund 2012, a joint Obama 2012 re-election campaign/Democratic National Committee fund.
