Mango crisp feasts taste buds with juicy mango and crispy chunks together. This recipe is easy to make at home within minutes.
Ingredients:
- 5 cups ripe mangoes
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup flour
Method:
- Peel and slice mangoes
- Add 1 teaspoon of the nutmeg, the cinnamon, and lemon juice in sliced mangoes
- Place the mixture in a buttered glass baking dish of 10 x 6 x 2 inch
- Set aside
- Now blend butter and brown sugar in a smooth mixture
- Put the flour and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon in butter mixture
- Mix until crumbly
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over mango slices
- Cook in microwave oven for 9-11 minutes on high power, rotate dish after 5 minutes
- Serve warm or cold, with whipped topping or ice cream.
